Its all about picking your parents well.

If you picked good ones you can be totally sedetary, eat big macs every day and live to 90. If you picked the wrong ones (Dick Cheney for example), you'll have a heart attack at 35 on he same diet.

Ultra low carb diets can do that. I know a few people who subsist almost entirely on red meat, eggs, hard cheeses and the like who've lost lots of weight and have much lower cholesterol/triglycerides than when they were on low fat diets.
