I was looking at the CIA factbook tonight at Iraq's key economic facts. France is Iraq's biggest importer (21% of all imported goods in Iraq come from France)

I wasn't disputing that the United States wants what Iraq has :) Was just making a point about France.. just insinuating that everything is about money and self interest (which is essentially money), and not peace/morality like everyone preaches.

Yes, and the major imports (which we can assume some of which are French) are listed as: food, medicine, manufactures.

Damn those French, trying to profit by selling medicine to the Iraqi's!

And guess what the major export is?

CRUDE OIL!

Oh, please. Don't pretend the French are humanitarian or morally superior because they are selling medicine. They'd sell bags of shit and crack cocaine, too, if they could turn a nice profit and get away with it. Every country would.
