Do new sites convert better than older sites?

Course if you make some improvements to slow down the pace of decline or even maintain for a while, but overall,and eventually. will sales decline as your content has been out there for years

what percent of big well established paysites do you think had the same conversion rate as they did in beta or in their first month

seems like a silly question. for some reason its being debated and by somebody with alot of experience in this industry.. so figured i'd get the masses to share their opinion
