I would go for an air purifier separate from the humidifier (unless you do live in the desert). :2 cents: I use one of these: Amazon.com - Winix PlasmaWave 5300 Air Cleaner Model - Hepa Filter Air Purifiers . |
hehe, no, I don't live in a desert
but with the same logic, do you live in a laundry room if you need a dehumidifier? joking aside, heating season is coming up - hence the need for humidity I'm also a smoker so air purification would also be a cool feature on the device |

Regardless, I just think it would be a good idea to have the air purification capability separate from the humidifier. . |
If you spend 600 on that piece of trash then you are a moron. Most "high end: air purifiers are no better than a cheap $99 regular hepa filters and many are actually worse. They are rated by air flow and that is a scam because then the companies just put a powerful fan inside and blow as much air as possible. This has zero correlation to air cleaning. Also there are many scams and gimmicks like air washing and other BS.
You are welcome for this advice. This is by far the best air purifier in the world. I have 3 of these around my house. Amazon.com - HealthPro Plus Air Purifier - Hepa Filter Air Purifiers |
I'd like an air poorifier...
|
I use multiple Honeywell air purifiers.
|
got this thing in the end, Zepter Air Therapy Ion, a bit under 1000$
no humidification function though so I'll prolly get another machine for that purpose so far it seems to do the trick but girlfriend is sneezing the shit out of her.. no fucking idea why http://static.zabawkowicz.pl/_files/46/28372.jpg |
