Recommendations for a good, cheap HD Video Camera

I currently have a gopro which is good, however, looking to add another angle when out fishing. On the cheaper side would be nice since I'm not sure how its going to hold up to the elements. If I break it I wont be sad.

Since a lot of the water I will be fishing is rough, something with image stabilization would be nice.

Can anybody here recommend a halfway decent video camera?

I love my Gopro but the sounds really sucks. I was hoping for something that picked up sound better when I was making comments about the trip, conditions etc.
