If someone buys my content, and can then give it away to their affiliates, friends, hosting clients, or whatever. Basically, that amounts to a license for resale, where the places it is spread to isn't even limited by people being able to be free.

If I sell something, I don't want someone else to be able to give it away. Of course, I mean as a commodity. How people give it to the actual viewers is a different issue and not the same problem.

i agree and find it interesting that, although i have only been selling content for a bit less then a year so don't have a long time perspective, in the last month it seems there is an exponential increase in inquiries for content to be given to affiliates (hosted galleries...).

Let's say you are licensing photosets for $40. How much do you think you should charge if a program owner wants to use the sets for hosted galleries? And how much if they want to outright give the sets out to their affilliates to use on their own sites?

Yes you can give it to affiliates. I agree with what some of the others say here, but it depends on the quality of the content. You want top girls shot well in sets that convert, then you have to dig deep. If they were all available for nothing this market would be fucked.

That's why I asked if anyone had content for sale to be used in galleries, not asking who sells content and then use it in galleries. I do remeber the discussion on using content and galleries.
