Marketing Question Pro vs amateur models and GFE.

Just wondering:

There are professional models and there are amateur models.

When marketing models to end users, do you uses terms like "professional" and "amateur"? If not, what terminology would be used to distinguish between the two?

In my opinion, an "Amateur" model is someone that a customer may form a perceived attachment with the hope of possibly meeting her one day. (She's amateur, she's just doing this for fun, she's a girl next door, etc).

A Professional on the other hand, in the end users eye at least, is a stunning cute perfect babe, but is perceived as unreachable / untouchable / unobtainable.

How do you setup the difference between a professional model and an amateur model while maintaining the Girlfriend Experience allure?

You sell models on it being professional and that they'll be looked at in a professional light, you sell customers on them being real people.

There isn't a model's stock that wouldn't be increased with increased user interaction. This is why cams are as big as ever and as is social media, just look at the followers these girls get

Obviously you can goto the extreme and go too far on one side, example, if you went as far as had them fucking fans and advertising it, well then its a bit trickier and depends on the model and market youre targeting to

Hi Pseudo,

Thanks for the input. I'm just wondering if words like "professional" and "amateur" should be used at all.

i personally dont like to make my target audience smaller than it needs to be, but thats just my style. i find appealing to the largest and most mainstream audience allows for a higher ceiling. if you believe in your product, thats usually the best way to go about things. however if you haven't noticed much success with sites, sometimes trying to fit into a smaller target market, it will suit you better.

so with saying that, i would just axe out any mention of either and let surfers assume whatever they wish. if they like her, theyll usually see her as how they want to see her. (thats the general advice i'd give without seeing the specific model)

if youre talking about softcore webcam girl websites (no males), then i would for sure leave out professional and up to you whether you want to mention amateur. sometimes balance is needed also, if shes a softcore model who is bordering on too hot and too pretty like Destiny Moody | Welcome , who may seem unapproachable and too hot , you counter balance with something like amateur girl next door

he countered balanced that model with a design that showcases her as a girl next door, chooses the pictures that make her appear so and im sure mentions it in some text.. puts himself back into the middle instead of just caving and targeting the easy market

He could have given her a mainstream design like Jordan Carver does, however if he did, it wouldn't have done as well. JordanCarver is an amazing model and a site based around her has massive potential. Sometimes leaning more towards one side ruins things.

Though i dont ever really see a need to add in the word 'professional'. I would do things in other ways to do balance on the other side. amateur, i could see being used sometimes but im having troubles seeing where professional would be beneficial

I do like to use the word official in tours, to showcase that it is their website, mentioning a pornstar or solo girl as a professional, nah
