We're pissed off at the french for being naive rather then helpfull. Plus the fact that they weren't willing to listen to the intelligence collectors who had the facts and figures to prove their point.

Um... Saddam hasn't pulled out tonnes of anything.. If you think for a second that there is factual evidence he has lined the borders with chemical and biological weapons and America is just sitting around then something's wrong. I don't know where you're pulling this from as there has been nothing but conjecture that he's getting ready to use such weapons. I'm in no way denying he has them, I have always believed he has, even without proof, but if he reallyhad moved some around it would have been vaoprized with a patriot missile fired from a drone hours before any press on the ground got wind of any factual rumours.
The French aren't naive - they're protecting their investment and oil contracts, they've got a lot to lose from America coming in and changing regime - bascially US companies would take over all the contracts.. Thats why we as Australians have to look very carefully at what happens to our iraqi wheat export contracts, although im sure we will retain them for our dutiful service.
To date there has been no intelligence on their weapons of mass destruction. It's just propaganda, if they had real factual evidence you'd have seen teams of inspectors holding anthrax symbols on the news or craters where the storage facilities were. Instead we've had flimsy BS paraded around as facts trying to convince a sceptical public. He has them.. we've just got absolutely no proof or idea of where they are.
