Wordpress/Cloudflare - how to purge one post?
 

hey guys,
anyone know how to purge one post?
to be precise: i need photos/thumbs to be purged.
exactly same problem have one dude here:

but finally he didn't get solution, maybe some of you who are familiar with php can do this?
it's a small piece of code that need to be tweaked and added to functions.php

didn't tried any plugin, wanted to resolve this with some small php code but i'll look at your plugin once this topic will go down without more ideas.

from cloudflare.com or check their api;.

1. Login to Cloudflare
2. Choose your site from the list
3. Selecting the "Caching" Icon from the top menu
4. Choose "Purge Individual Files"
5. Paste the URL to your post in the provided text area
6. Click the blue Purge button

That should do it. Worst case scenario is you'll need to "purge everything". Not sure if that's available on the free options, but on the paid it is.

yes , on free plan you can do purge everything.

sorry guys but none of above will help me.
i know i can purge single file - doesn't work like i need it, i can paste post url it will be purged but it shows same thumbs in gallery as it was when post were created and i've ftp my own thumbs - in short: thumbs were not purged when i've purged post, doesn't work that way.

obviously purge all is not a solution at all i do not want to purge everything.

if any of you would check link i've pasted in first post, it's php code there to purge media/thumbs/images - can anyone check it and tweak?

if not i will just start testing plugins (wanted to avoid this..)

You would need to purge thumbs individually I would assume - Also, I am sure you thought of this, but just in case. Have you deleted the thumbs in your local machine's cache?..

the code from my link does exactly as you wrote - it's purging thumbs, just not manually, script does it.
if someone will figure out how to use it it could be good to use by everyone (who need it)
yes i've deleted cache.

tried purge plugin. no effect on thumbs.
seems that for purging thumbs i need to purge all - pretty shitty solution imo.
think i'll just write 2 months of posts in advance and purge all.
