Indian Goverment Lift Ban On Porn!
 

The government on Tuesday gave in to a massive outrage over its decision to ban 857 pornographic websites and said it will lift the blockade while continuing to censor sites that promote child pornography.

"A new notification will be issued shortly. The ban will be partially withdrawn. Sites that do not promote child porn will be unbanned," Information and Technology."

Indian government should follow UK government who want account holder to Opt-inn to porn when getting Internet connection to reduce the amount of access. Banning any thing is not a solution.

How about opting-out if you don't want porn? And for example browser basis, not internet connection basis?

This is good news.

Should look at the bigger picture, not just whether Indian surfers generate sales or not. Things like free spech and censorship...

And also, even if Indian visitors don't make many sales now, they could be important 10-15 years from now.
