It is just a few degrees lower than the highest ever recorded heat index, which was 178F (81C) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on July 8, 2003.

The hottest I have known was a few years back in Madrid and it hit 50c.

I have to confirm (since dude is showing thermometer in the sun) - is that temperature in the shadow?

117 in Palm Springs was the hottest I've ever experienced. 165! Can't even imagine..

I experienced 55 Celsius(131 Fahrenheit) in Dubai... Can only imagine 70 Celsius... Jesus christ.
