This means for example: an adult age 40 can have a sex and a dating relationship with a child age 16 and according to the law it is okay. Indiana has no age gap provision to protect children between the ages of 16-18 from much older adults.

There is a woman I went to high school with who brags about the fact that when she was 15 her parents introduced her to a guy who was 31 and they started dating. He married her at 17 with her parents permission and she is "proud" that she has only been with that one guy and had that one relationship. However, 90% of her Facebook feed is her talking about how rough her life is and how she is always struggling to get things together and how she is always surrounded by drama. Hmmm....I wonder why that might be.

It is against the law if He Paid her. If it was free, then it would be okay.

It is also usually a bigger crime if he paid this girl at 16 than if she was 18......

It's alleged he paid the 16 year old $100, if that's proven true, then he could go to jail.
