When your wife isn't there, do you sometimes build a fort out of the sofa cushions and get your knife out and pretend to kill people attacking your fort?
I would. |

wow man, that's pretty cool. I wish I could hear the story as to how you aquired it.
Did it at one time belong to the guy who's ID you posted on the other thread? .... a buddy of mine has a knife his grandfather got from a Nazi soldier in WWII. It's amazing what significance a piece of sharp metal can have. Im sure your grandchildren will someday proudly show that to others too. |

I brought home a gook head from vietnam. Got it mounted on my wall. Its decayed a little over the years, but still makes a great ice breaker when i got guests over

Adult, I've used a couple different types of NVG. The question really is, what are you going to use them for?
The russian set I used was a pair of field glasses, about 4x magnification. It was a moonless night and they made it so you could easily distinguise the individual soybean plants in the field, however they didn't let you see what was at the edge of the field in the tree line, which is where I was trying to look. My favorite was the Starlight system which attached inline to a Cannon DVcam lens. It cost about $3k, but it was fun driving down pitch black alleys in the ghetto in a police car with the lights out using the NV to see people running from us. We drove down the alley with nothing but the internal 6" screen to show where we were going until we came across a hot water heater placed to prevent cars from going down the alley. |
Oh yeah, check out http://www.uscav.com for all your paramilitary needs.
