Trump to Breastfeeding Mom: 'You're Disgusting'
Now people are digging up anything on the guy. This is from 2011. I don't know if it was "disgusting" but it sure was unprofessional.
"Trump to Breastfeeding Mom: 'You're Disgusting' T"rump to Breastfeeding Mom: 'You're Disgusting' According to a recent report, when a lawyer needed a break to pump breast milk, Donald Trump called her “disgusting.” Presidential candidate Donald Trump called a lawyer and breastfeeding mother “disgusting” after she requested a break from a deposition in order to pump, according to a New York Times report on Tuesday. According to the paper, lawyer Elizabeth Beck was questioning Trump in 2011 about a failed Florida real estate project. Beck, with her husband, represented clients who claimed to lose thousands of dollars in the deal. At one point, Beck, who had a 3-month-old daughter, requested a medical break which was contested by Trump and his lawyers, who wanted to continue, the Times says. That’s when Beck took out her breast pump to show that her request was urgent — she needed to pump for her infant. “You’re disgusting,” Trump told Beck before leaving the room. https://www.yahoo.com/parenting/trum...350815777.html . |
This is how the game is played. When you run for president they will dig up anything they can to make you look bad. Not too long ago Trump said that golf should be an expensive game that only rich people can play so it gives people something to work for. I won't be shocked when that is brought up to make him seem elitist.

How's this from Ivana Trumps court deposition:
After a painful scalp reduction surgery to remove a bald spot, Donald Trump confronted his then-wife, who had previously used the same plastic surgeon. ?Your fucking doctor has ruined me!? Trump cried. What followed was a ?violent assault,? according to Lost Tycoon. Donald held back Ivana?s arms and began to pull out fistfuls of hair from her scalp, as if to mirror the pain he felt from his own operation. He tore off her clothes and unzipped his pants. ?Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified? It is a violent assault,? Hurt writes. ?According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ?he raped me.?? Following the incident, Ivana ran upstairs, hid behind a locked door, and remained there ?crying for the rest of night.? When she returned to the master bedroom in the morning, he was there. ?As she looks in horror at the ripped-out hair scattered all over the bed, he glares at her and asks with menacing casualness: ?Does it hurt??? |
If I was forced to attend a deposition then opposing council said they needed to take a break to pump milk I am sure I would comment too; but it would probably be more along the lines of, "and you wonder why women get paid less than men?"

A deposition is a serious legal procedure even if it's an informal one. Taking a time-out in the middle of one for anything personal is unprofessional. Letting everyone know it's to pump milk out of your tits is laughable at best.

Why does our culture have so many problems with women breastfeeding?
I seriously can't figure that out. Even worse is trying to understand why anyone in the adult industry would have an issue with something so natural, normal, and healthful. The disgusting part is being disgusted with it in the first place. L-pink - you need to make sure to pick up Baddog in the DeLorean and get back to 1969 so you two can take Bella Abzug's shoes away and lock her in the kitchen. Make sure to tag team her good so she can't get too far fast carrying the love child. Don't worry about the paternity test yet. You are good to go! |

Nonee of this matters anyway because there is no chance he will be President. |
The comment "you are disgusting" is being turned around on him. He could have meant it in the context that the lawyer was disgusting because she had no tact or class by simply whipping out the breast pump in court.
In no way was he condemning the actual act of breast pumping to feed the baby. It's the manner in which the lawyer did the request which drew the ire of Donald. |
Can't say he isn't right this time around ...

Thought most women pump at home and then just bring bottles with?
I'd personally prefer fresh off the tap and have no problem with all attractive women yanking their titties out. :2 cents: |

So in the middle of a serious legal matter having a woman on opposing council start to pump milk out of her tits is not a problem? Not a major distraction to the guy who is giving under oath, legal and binding testimony? Give me a break. |

according to the transcripts, Trump also had a problem when one of his own lawyers requested a break::::::
"And Trump was intent on proceeding through the deposition without any additional breaks, according to a transcript of the deposition CNN obtained through public records. He even refused to take a break when one of his attorneys requested to go to the bathroom, instead insisting another lawyer could take over and allow the deposition to continue." Trump calls lawyer 'disgusting' for going to pump breast milk, report says - CNNPolitics.com Trump and his legal crew had already defeated this attorney and this deposition was part of their appeal, "Garten, executive vice president and general counsel at The Trump Organization, said Trump called Beck "disgusting" because she was about to use her breast pump in the middle of the deposition room." "She was disgusting," Garten said in a phone interview with CNN. "She was attempting to breast feed -- to pump in the middle of a deposition, in a deposition room with five lawyers and was not excusing herself." Garten said Beck started to assemble the pump in the deposition room and "started to move the breast pump toward her breast." |
Trump is ridiculous. I can't wait until he shuts the hell up one and for all.

so your argument that women who can play these games makes them valuable is pretty weak I think... |
I didn't argue about any person in the room being "valuable". Attorneys are all piles of shit . I'll say that everything in the room is a game and that it's highly unlikely that any woman at the top of the legal field of all things didn't understand that it was both inappropriate and offensive/objectionable

kinda funny how 90% of people in the thread make her out to be the victim, and Trump an asshole... while in reality the opposite is true... |

She needed to relieve her tits from the milk ... ... and you guys are in adult business ... ???? |
Trump is a fucktard. However in all fairness in the middle of a legal preceding is not the place to pump out breast milk. As a woman I am all for our rights to pull out our tits and feed children in restaurants or public places. However a job is a job and if a woman wants her job she needs to make arrangements to make sure her personal life, including her children do not interfere with her performing her job.
However a restroom break for any reason should be acceptable. However if she just whipped out her boob to pump in the middle of the preceding she has no professionalism or class. He could have been more tactful than calling her disgusting but he by no means was he wrong for being irritated and verbalizing it. |
