Been thinking...
1. I agree that Bush, is in fact, an idiot on many levels.
2. I understand that being an American, you cannot turn your back on your president, or your government. It is your home. Sure, I don't agree with probably 70% of the things your government does, or has done, and probably will do in the future. But I am proud to be apart of America in my way. Yes, you are pigheaded, selfish, egotistical brats for the most part, but I have also never encountered the compassion, the love, the unity, that people displayed from 9/11 on. Strangers on the street, gathering together to raise a flag and say a prayer. Maybe it took a tragedy to wake you up. Maybe it took a tragedy to make you appreciate life. Maybe it took a tragedy to bring us together. Truth is, things need to happen. To me, they are going about getting it done all wrong. Totally wrong. And all I can do is say a prayer for the innocent, and hope it all ends soon. |
the freedomites are on board, so it's all good.

No pun intended. |
I don't think Saddam has the capability, nor means to send heat seeking missiles. He does however have the capability to act against foreign troops in his region.

Ah. I didn't notice that comment.
Actually, Saddam does have heat seeking missles: SA-7's and SA-14's. They're surface to air missles with a range of about 3-5 miles, so unless you're flying over Iraq they're not going to be much of a threat. |

How could he bring hell to the US? does he even have any allies with the means? Unless of course someone else comes into the picture and takes advantage of the conflict, for example: North Korea. |
