Do 4free sponsors ruin chances to get per-signup sales?
I see a lot of people/sites that mix 4free/ezine ads in with their per-signup ads.
My thinking is that if a surfer sees 'join this teen site for free' and an ad that says 'join this teen site for 2.99 for 3 days' they might click on the ezine and you make $1 whereas they may have bought a trial membership and you make $35. My question is whether or not mixing these two type of programs is bad for per-signup or exposing them to ezine ads before they see per-signup ads. Post your opinions. |
I'm so sick of these god damn war/new threads - we all have CNN people - BUMP :321GFY

If your traffic is good, then it makes no sense to place an ad for a 4free program.
If you notice over a certain period of time that your traffic is not so good as expected (i.e. for per signup), you can try to add mailers/4free and see if you still get some full signups plus some 4free signups and compare which one makes you more money. This is the reason why on some pages there are both per signup and 4free, because per signup doesn't work well, and it's switched to 4free + some chance to per signup (i.e. who knows, maybe you still get some joins there). If the traffic is clearly not converting well, then 4free only is the solution, and if it's not converting at all, then it's Chinese. |
That is pretty much what I think too Cash...
Maybe I could sell spice instead of porn memberships? |
