Help - How Do I Get RealPlayer As Default?
I'm using win98 2 edition or whatever they called it.
What I want to do is have RealP layer set as my default movie player. Can you help? What I'm I saying - of course you can! :thumbsup |
1 - open "explorer"
2 - "view" -> "folder options" -> "file type" 3 - Find Real mediafiles 4 - associate it with realplayer 5 - press OK or Re-install realplayer - under the install routine, it asks you what files to assosiate with the player or Depending what version of the player, there is a "prefference" meny where you ajust what type of files to playback |
You must be joking. I hate realplayer it hijacks my associations everyday. :BangBang:

realplayer is the devil.

Just to let you know, RealPlayer is the worst players of them all. Not only do you get loads of ads, but you also get crammed with spyware.

Thing is that I have a mpg file that I would like to view but for some reason WinMedia kicks in and it doesn't load so I thought that if I got RealPlayer to execute it that I would be able to view the darn thing. I would post the file/link but It's being hotlinked (with permission of course) and I don't want to run up buddies bill. |
I don't think RealPlayer will play an mpg file
