Should Donald be firing up photoshop and creating his own campaign materials? It's obvious someone used a stock image of soldiers to create an effect. There's lots of things to rip on the guy for, but this isn't one of them.

I'm from the UK and we're wondering how the republican party can stand by as he alienates them such an important voter base/demographic.

It shows right in the article where the photo was obtained. It's a stock photo of some war re-enactors. People call Donald stupid but the ones trying to make a poorly sourced photoshop job into some sort of racist conspiracy masterminded by Trump himself are complete idiots.

Most reasonable people would admit that since he is probably not an expert on world war 2 uniforms that he could be forgiven for not recognizing their faint shadow hidden in the background of an image that was meant to be depicting ww2 soldiers, and will move on to more important issues. Others will say he deliberately told his campaign to place them there to secretly appeal to racist conservatives. I know which one sounds more reasonable to me.

There isn't much they can do about him right now. Many of them have renounced him and republican leaders have asked him to calm his rhetoric, but they can' really shut him down.

I have a feeling when we have the first republican debate they will all go after him pretty hard which could work and show he is not ready to lead or it could backfire. If they all attack him and he defends himself well, it will only make him stronger.

It's gonna be another Democrat.. That is 100% certain. The only debate is will Sanders be capable of beating Hillary. It would also be nice to hear something from Webb, but other than announce his candidacy, he has t done much to get any air time, which sort of shows he likely doesn't have the capibilitiy to do much.

I'm not so sure of that.... There is a large pool of Republican candidates, and surely two or three of them should be able to take Hillary on. The Democratic party has one candidate and if she falters it's game over.

republicans can not win the presidency with out a majority of the minority vote. trump has further alienated them and he will cause the election to be even a bigger landslide because minorities will now show up to make sure he doesn't win.

The mid terms were not a sign of Republican dominance, but rather a freebie which was handed to them because Democrats didn't show up to vote for the "team" like Republicans do.. That won't happen this go around.
