Trump Tweets Photo of Nazi Troops - The Daily Beast

Quote:

Donald Trump tweeted an image of him, the White House, cash, and soldiers?that upon closer examination are clearly Germans in World War II?overlayed with an American flag. The men, who appear to be reenactors, are wearing patches of the Waffen SS. Michael Niemerg spotted the German infiltrators on Twitter, and a few minutes later Trump deleted it. Trump's organization blamed an intern, of course.
Donald Trump is a hugely embarrassing idiot.

Rochard 07-14-2015 01:20 PM

Trump is polling in first and his lead is getting bigger - 17% over Bush's 14%.

This will be the most entertaining election since Palin.

MrBottomTooth 07-14-2015 01:23 PM

Should Donald be firing up photoshop and creating his own campaign materials? It's obvious someone used a stock image of soldiers to create an effect. There's lots of things to rip on the guy for, but this isn't one of them.

Paz 07-14-2015 01:23 PM

I'm from the UK and we're wondering how the republican party can stand by as he alienates them such an important voter base/demographic.

MaDalton 07-14-2015 01:25 PM

I can't find any nazi stock photos. How bout this one?

MrBottomTooth 07-14-2015 01:32 PM

It shows right in the article where the photo was obtained. It's a stock photo of some war re-enactors. People call Donald stupid but the ones trying to make a poorly sourced photoshop job into some sort of racist conspiracy masterminded by Trump himself are complete idiots.

Trump is responsible for his employee's if he did authorize the post then it's HIS bad.

crockett 07-14-2015 01:38 PM

The stupidly of this guy shows no bounds..

Yet once again the Trump apoglists march in step to make excuses.. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The GOP and the Republican Party is pure comedy.. Yet the best thing about Trump is the Republican leadership hates him more than the left does. Added bonus is he will make the $900 million dollars the Koch Bros are spending on this election absolutely worthless.

pornstarlet-net 07-14-2015 01:41 PM

uh... why's there a Nazi paratrooper, and foot soldiers marching outside the whitehouse

Paul Markham 07-14-2015 01:41 PM

Clinton for President.

A Black, followed by a Woman will have the Hillbillies foaming at the mouth. LOL

Jman 07-14-2015 01:42 PM

If I was American I'd pretty much be like WTF about his Slogan which basically says America ain't Great

It's like a guy who gives his wife a whole spa and redo treatment and tells her this will make her look great again. LMAO

What a loser

MrBottomTooth 07-14-2015 01:44 PM

Most reasonable people would admit that since he is probably not an expert on world war 2 uniforms that he could be forgiven for not recognizing their faint shadow hidden in the background of an image that was meant to be depicting ww2 soldiers, and will move on to more important issues. Others will say he deliberately told his campaign to place them there to secretly appeal to racist conservatives. I know which one sounds more reasonable to me.

Which shows that the same people whom voted for Palin and McCain are just as dumb as ever.. So it's not really saying much.. Watching the right wing is like watching the real life version of Idiocracy.

I don't get it...

According to MetaMan and others here America IS the greatest...

But "Make America great again" implies something else...

dyna mo 07-14-2015 02:01 PM

ahahahah, what a tard novice politician

that's an error a polished, inside the beltway, career politician has legions of handlers and consultants getting paid $100s of thousands of dollars out of billion dollar bank accounts to spot and correct.

Trump's such a tard for not being one of those guys that we all need to ensure stay elected.

aka123 07-14-2015 02:07 PM

Well.. nazies had pretty impressive results.. for a while. Though some (or all) of the results were also not so admirable, but results anyway. They also had real leadership (dictator). Maybe Trump is after that?

Go Trump, go!! :)

dyna mo 07-14-2015 02:12 PM

tbh, i'm more slack-jawed over how shitty that graphic is overall.

What? There are Trump, US flag, dollars, White house and Nazis. Every essential element for successful presidential campaign. :)

Robbie 07-14-2015 02:16 PM

This campaign isn't going to be about reality at all (not that any in the modern era have).

The real issues and things that a President CAN do are not even on the radar for any of these candidates when it comes to the media.
The same people attacking Trump for the stupidest shit are the ones who will vote for Hillary Clinton with no second thought about all the REAL stuff she's been involved in over time.

Just like nobody on the Republican side of the fence will question Jeb Bush in any real way.

You see...Bush and Clinton are part of the accepted ruling parties. So therefore, since we are told to...we accept them as "serious".

Anybody else? Hell no! We will do as we are told and vote for one or the other of the two ruling parties accepted candidates.
No other choice is possible. Ever. We will obey.

There isn't much they can do about him right now. Many of them have renounced him and republican leaders have asked him to calm his rhetoric, but they can' really shut him down.

I have a feeling when we have the first republican debate they will all go after him pretty hard which could work and show he is not ready to lead or it could backfire. If they all attack him and he defends himself well, it will only make him stronger.

I don't know. Call me crazy but you want to be the head of state of basically the leading nation on Earth and you can't reign in your campaign underlings to nail down a detail like this?

Come on Donald, you can do better than this. (can't you?)

I could have spotted the nazi in that graphic when I was 8 yrs old. Wouldn't doubt there are 8 yr olds today who could do it. Perhaps they should send Trump their resumes.

No, he should not create his own ads. However, great leaders hire competent people to tend to the minor details. Donald Trump proves himself, once again, to be a horrible leader. Why should he be allowed to lead the country?

The irony is the ad was about real leadership.

If people make it about his leadership skills then that's more than fair. I was more commenting on the idiots that were already conjuring up racist conspiracy theories. It's not like this sort of thing hasn't happened before.

It's gonna be another Democrat.. That is 100% certain. The only debate is will Sanders be capable of beating Hillary. It would also be nice to hear something from Webb, but other than announce his candidacy, he has t done much to get any air time, which sort of shows he likely doesn't have the capibilitiy to do much.

There isn't a Republican in the running which will be capable of pulling a Charlie Sheen.. The only chance Republicans have of winning a presidential election at this point, is if Democrats stay home. republicans have alienated their party from most of Americans whom doesn't live within the far right wing bubble.

i would imagine the message that the USA is broken rings true when the one party is trying to take back the wh from the other party. we gotta fix what the other guys broke kinda thing.

i chuckled re: Trump usurping the slogan, but not just using it, changing it from a "let's" all do this to a direct order- "make" America great.

i've been waiting for the crocketts to notice that.

I'm not so sure of that.... There is a large pool of Republican candidates, and surely two or three of them should be able to take Hillary on. The Democratic party has one candidate and if she falters it's game over.

It doesn't matter if they can "take on Hillary" or not. republicans have alienated themselves from the majority of Americans. They can not get the numbers to win a presidential race.

The McCain/Obama election wasn't even close. The Romeny/Obama election wasn't even close. It was never going to be close, anyone with common sense knew it before Election Day but all the right wingers were living in their lala land Consertive bubble and fooled themselfs..

Even Bush lost the popular vote and his brother handed him the election instead.

republicans can not win the presidency with out a majority of the minority vote. trump has further alienated them and he will cause the election to be even a bigger landslide because minorities will now show up to make sure he doesn't win.

The mid terms were not a sign of Republican dominance, but rather a freebie which was handed to them because Democrats didn't show up to vote for the "team" like Republicans do.. That won't happen this go around.

The only people whom think Trump has a chance in hell are the same people who. Thought McCain/Palin and Romeny/Boy wonder were going to win..

They were wrong then and they are wrong now.
