If there were no war, this would not be an issue...I flew after 9/11 for the very reasons you stated...I would never let 'them' win.

Your more likely to catch that new virus on an airplane then having it crash.
Airplanes recycle air so if some jackass is sick it can easily infect other passengers.
(even those not sitting right beside the sick person)

Its in the US now. I'd be more worried about this then terrorists crashing the plane.
