Most camgirls (or couples, guys) that perform on all the camsites are not seeking stardom, not all but most.
Cam performers want a "quasi-privacy" that really does not exist.
Some performers have local legal issues in their broadcasting country location.

The way we run things at XloveCam is by giving the performers the power to offer images or videos of themselves to our site for promotion, I restated and modified this policy in 2010. I don't feel I "own" the performers and want to respect their wishes when reasonable. XloveCam owns a non-exclusive copyright assignment by the Models for broadcasting and promotional purposes but with respect to "promotional purposes" I consider given that right in practice when the models decide to upload their content: they act with their consent, in estoppel and form my assurance of reasonableness. Only then, can we make the content available to our XloveCash Affiliates.

That said, there was another thread regarding CB and their Models use of DMCA logos and statements, I started this thread as not to hijack that thread (further). That thread had a lot of questions and input that I wanted to address and further discuss.

It also lead to the compiling of a list of hundreds of thumbs that would qualify for affiliate use for promotion. These thumbs are used for the xvideos WL tube that we offer. There is a CSV download that you can select the Model and get a list including the thumbs. I sorted a few "good" ones ... These are webcam shots so they tend to be small and of amateur quality but that is what we sell impromptu video sex encounters -- the 'SIZZLE' sells in cams and not the high quality 4k and Ultra HD Resolution -- we sell the real and live ...

If camgirls weren't so prone to being dumb and/or changing their mind all the time, I'd risk using some for promotion (which is the main point - in fact the only point - of the CB thread you want to open up for further discussion here).

@Jel; If the camgirls (cam models more gender neutral) were more wanting to give us promotional material use consented content -- cams would be more attractive to many to promote -- I won't dispute that point and essentially I agree with it.

We have been working for years now at developing model ''portfolios" of authorized materials-- it's slow going and convincing an independent model is in many ways actually easier than a ''studio girl'' in Eastern Europe or Columbia.

I think a lot of the DMCA shield icons and warning text are on new models pages at CB and mostly models that are new -- more ''monkey-see monkey-do" IMHO. These girls are afraid that their Uncle Charley may beat-off on the site and see them and tell their Granny ... It gets that weird ... Or, their ex-boyfriend will start revenge posting them sucking their new boyfriend's cock on cam. I doubt they personally could pay to sue but the DCMA threats looks sooo official -- like the "beware of the dog" sign left on the gate years after the dog died ... For Affiliates that have to deal with web host policies the threat is more real but how many cam models can file a proper DMCA?

It's just not worth the grief -- find the cam models that want the promotion and the camgirls that don't want the ''exposure'' won't have the new potential customers that direct affiliate promotion will produce -- their loss and the smart girls are models and referring affiliates at the same time -- they pump their earnings to the max-- 80% but they are that 1% (probably less) you referred to :thumbsup

These pics are a little softer core from the live cam profiles. There are 320x240 reduced size image URLs listed on the XML downloadable files you can use to make custom API pages or your own custom tools. This way you can avoid the Google ''thin-affiliate'' and duplicate content issues that over used promo tools and white labels have. Your own API dynamic content will get indexed well and you will make bank:winkwink: The text content will be unique to your site if you pattern match and substitute the XML (or RSS) feed's text a bit ...

The XML and RSS feeds can be used with WordPress and there are literally 100 feeds that you can configure the <nodes> (data) for so that you create a custom feed for you needs.
