WESTER UNION Money Order question
 

how much is take to cash a WESTER UNION MONEY ORDER ? I will cash in same day or i must wait a month like i wait for cash the checks?

Should be no fee or wait from your own bank. A money order is pretty much the same as cash.

I sent some payments by western union to a tgp reviewer i hired from Argentine, i went to my local post office, filled the form, payed the money and they gave me a key code. Then i called the guy, told him the code and he went to his western office, as soon as he told them the code and showed his identification they gave him the money. So just some minutes. You can also wait one day and they will bring to your home/office the recip, you can go then to the western office to get the money. Western Union is instant money.

I used western U for some content transactions and it worked great.
The customer send out the money and I went to nearest WU office to pick up right after he sent me tracking number and info

Icy, western union money orders is not like western union transfers, i think...i have received an western union money orders at home by postal service and i looks very close like a standard check from any others sponsors....and there is no key code..

alex79, doesn't it have a tracking number there? as i told you, you can go directly to the WU office if you know the tracking number, else the postal service bring you the recip to go to the office and get the money. The tracking code should be printed on that recip the postal service brought to you. Also the WU advertisement says "Instant money" but yeah, mybe there are also other ways to send WU money orders like regular checks, never saw that thought. Go to your local WU office and they will explain you, also to the WU website.

it's as good as bank check (cashier's check) issued by very reputable bank so you should be able to cash it promptly

a bank would take 1-2% for the service, wu office cash w/o any service fees

yep it's much more fun than wire transfer =) i always tell the clients to put some funny shit for secret question/answer =)

shit! i was on the bank today and i must wait 30 days to cash western union money order

you shoulda visited a wu office, not bank
or should have tried with another bank
