I think it's possible... why not take it to the vet?

If it can get pregnant the body is ready.

A female cat is sexually mature between 5 and 12 months. A male cat at about 5 months. I'd of thought you'd notice the female go into heat, but it's possible that you missed it. Gestation is just about 2 months.

One of the first signs is at about 3 weeks. The pregnant female cat's nipples get alot more pink than normal. Over the next few weeks, the hair around them falls out a bit. Making them easier for kittens to find, I guess.

You should get both your cats fixed... that may sound mean but it's not. They'll have a happier life if you do, if you don't they'll be unpredictable when they get horny and be hanging out for days in one of your neighbors flower beds lying in wait to fuck their cat.

Best advice I can give you is never ever let your cats outside alone. They are far to curious to keep out of trouble and curiousity is the number one killer of cats.

Other than that cats are the coolest....far
superior in intelligence than most animals including humans.

Inbred kittens?

Damian_Maxcash 03-18-2003 03:24 AM

My 2 did the same thing at 8 months, they are brother and sister

She only had 2 kittens.... I suppose because she was so small herself

The kittens were fine...... a bit stupid..... but ok

Not related to your question, but a nice experience i had.
I have two cats at home but a year ago, on christmas, another cat came to my home's door, a female that was pregnant. As it was cold outside, i gave her food and brought her to my home. After a week i came from my office and saw her just having 5 small kitties. Was really exciting, never saw that before. 2 days after that she went outside and she was killed by a fucking car. Then i went with the 5 small kitties to the vet, asked him what to do and he said they will die probably as they were only 2 days old and without mother. Then i bought babes milk, a baby's bottle and started to give them food each 3 hours, was really mad to wake up each 3 hours To give food to 5 small cats is a nightmare, all them wanted to drink at same time, jumping around, biting me and each other, but was also really nice and fun. Finally, thanks god (or me better said :) ) after some weeks all them survived.
Probably some of you feel this stupid and a waste of time, but for me was a great experience and i feel really proud of it. As sinfullone said, "cats are the coolest....far superior in intelligence than most animals including humans."

Good for you! Glad the little ones made it.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

i know! I was planning to but time goes fast.
The female was in heat starting 3 months ago but
the boy didnt react to that. So i figured they where too young =
no problemo.

But a month ago or so my girlfriend said she indeed noticed
some hardcore activity between the two.

Something i cant imagine when i think of my sweet, loving
intelligent babies.

Now the female shows some nipples and her underbelly
is a bit swollen.. but im note sure if that's just because
she's in heat.

I knew it was the time to do some serious GFY consulting...

This is probably one of the most touching stories i have read on GFY... it is nice to see some people still respect animals for what they are, living, breathing, self-thinking intelligent beings.

I would have done the exact same thing, then taken a long catnap myself once those weeks were up :)
