I once caught half a pitcher of beer as it was falling and didn't spill a drop.. Our waitress said she was amazed.. It was a longtime ago at a biker bar in Phoenix. This is the only fight I ever saw in that bar and it turns out they were fighting to take the keys away from a very drunk guy that wanted to leave on his Harley.. We had one of those bar height flimsy tables right by the exit. As the bouncer was throwing them out they ran into our table and as the table was going over I grabbed the beer pitcher as it was sliding off the table.

well the chances are a lot greater if it's practiced. Also I'm sure roadie tosses things all the time to get ready for gigs. Who is to say this is the first time they tried it? They could've tried it the week before and if the beer was un-catchable he just let it go till he got the perfect pitch at this show.
