mega rich people have nothing better to do than to self analyze themselves to death and create all these things they "need" to do to make themselves complete. with jenner, it seems more real i guess since he has been cross dressing and take hormones in the 80s but if he were just an average guy living paycheck to paycheck he wouldn't have the time or money to even think about stuff like this. he'd just be concerned about making sure the mortgage gets paid and the kids can go to college.

So maybe having someone who has been famous and in the public eye for 30 years and has actually accomplished something (Olympic gold medal) using their platform to speak out and demand equal treatment can help those who are struggling with this. I'm sure he enjoys the fame or he wouldn't have been on that dumb ass Kardashian show, but to me he is a trailblazer. He is going to live his life how he wants, be on TV and do what he wants and fuck everyone who doesn't like it.

the message he sends is:

with $100 million dollars, the best plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, huge doses of hormone pills, silicone, lingerie, the best photographer in the business, photoshop, and a vanity fair cover, you too can be your "true self".

so donate the money he makes from this to transgender causes. otherwise he is just selling a product. and those stats can apply to so many things, for example, mental illness but where is the celebrity trailblazer for that? oh right, celebs with mental illnesses just get made fun of on tmz and no one gives a shit.

i wonder what many feminists, and heck, a lot of women, think of his message that all it takes to be a woman in 2015 is cosmetics.

I'm not going to tell anyone how to spend their money. To me, by going on TV while it is meant and likely presented as entertainment there are a lot of people out there who will look at this and realize they have nothing to be ashamed of and that they don't deserve to be treated like a freak.

Jenner is part of a reality show freak show family and it only dilutes down any real good that could have come of it.

I have nothing against transgender people as I live at ground ZERO for it that in West Hollywood.

I do have something against famewhores like Jenner who never do anything that doesn't enrich and benefit themselves.
