Just another shining example. (Certain) People are offended in Pittsburgh by the slogan "Ziggin' Zaggin", written on the cities' buses. Why? Because of what it reads BACKWARDS!?!?!

sit inside a bus with that slogan written in the window and it reads backwards. i wouldn't want to be sitting inside a bus reading niggaz niggiz written on the window, why not take them off? it's not like the message provides any real value and it's not replaceable with another slogan.

All it takes is one uptight asshole these days. Just like that gay guy out in Newfoundland a few years ago who complained about Dire Straits lyrics and got the song "Money for nothing" banned across Canadian radio. Nevermind the song had been out for 25 years already.

My point is that some people are looking to be offended - way more than in the past. And the reaction isn't "deal with it", the reaction is to make it go away, which to me is censorship. Also, as a lifelong rider of the NYC MTA buses, I can tell you there is way more offensive behaviour inside those buses by passengers than some silly slogan that's been around since 2003. :2 cents:

Love that song! And I always loved the "faggot" version better than the edited version, especially the video, which of course you CAN'T find on YouTube. Also, I looked at the news article and realized I've been mistaking a key part of those lyrics for a quarter century. I thought it was "that faggot with the earring and the MINK COAT" but the news article said "earring with the MAKE UP"! :1orglaugh. You learn something new everyday. :thumbsup
