Pleaseeee help!

This is sooo anoying, everytime I restart my comp, I get the ICQ, AIM and other crap automatically start up, is there anyway to disable that. I am using Windows XP. Sorry for my stupid question :(

Just adjust this stuff in the 'preferences' area for each applicable program.
