Haven't seen the movie yet and have never heard of the group. Just watched 5 of the videos on their YouTube channel. Pretty interesting sound...Gonna have to check them out more.

Saw them last year when they came to Minneapolis. If you have the chance to see them live, do it, they put on a hell of a show.

Yes, they are just great and so unique.

Have loved them for years - but they gave them a little too many lines in Chappie. While they had a few good moments it was pretty obvious that they are just beginning as actors

i think they never will get so many lines again - as i read the director stopped being friends with Ninja after the shoot...

They've claimed Lady Gaga spawned the prawns in his movie District 9, and in one of their videos they show her giving birth to an insect in a gyno office... which lead to this becoming one of their best concert t-shirts so far...
