Bloody battle leaves at least 42 dead in gunfight between Mexican police and drug cartel
Bloody gunfight between police and Mexican drug cartel leaves at least 42 dead MEXICAN federal forces have killed at least 42 suspected cartel members during a three-hour gunfight on a ranch in a violence-torn western region, marking one of the drug war?s bloodiest battles. Only one federal police officer was killed in the operation on Friday, which authorities launched after learning that ?armed criminals? were occupying the ranch in Tanhuato, Michoacan state, near the neighbouring state of Jalisco, officials said. ?Up to now, we have counted 42 suspected criminals killed and three more detained,? said National Security Commissioner Monte Alejandro Rubido. http://resources0.news.com.au/images...82df739478.jpg Downed by rocket-propelled grenade ... remains of a Mexican military helicopter shot down Downed by rocket-propelled grenade ... remains of a Mexican military helicopter shot down in Jalisco State, Mexico, in early May. Picture: AFP Source: AFP Mr Rubido said the death toll was a ?preliminary figure,? suggesting the number could rise as investigators comb the vast property. While he did not name the gang by name, Rubido said it was based in Jalisco, home of the New Generation drug cartel, a powerful heavily armed group that has become the top target of President Enrique Pena Nieto?s administration. http://resources2.news.com.au/images...82df739478.jpg Soldiers stand guard ... the entrance of the ranch where an intense gunbattle left at least 42 drug cartel members dead. On May 1, the government launched Operation Jalisco against the cartel. That same day, the gang killed seven troops and a policewoman when they downed a military helicopter with a rocket-propelled grenade. |

And what a fucking shock... the "100% innocent guy" had a massive police record which included 4 robbery convictions.... i'm sure he was just minding his own business and din do nuffins. Did they deserve to die? Well, i think the courts answered that AFTER HEARING TESTIMONY OF WITNESSES AND THE DEFENDANT AND BEING PRESENTED WITH ALL THE EVIDENCE AND FACTS OF THE CASE AND HEARING BOTH SIDES FULLY ARGUED. If you are going to go on a rampage with your vehicle for 22 minutes, putting countless lives at risk and are threatening the plow through large crowds on the street, attempt to run over police etc etc etc etc etc etc etc... you kinda gotta expect at some point that police are going to be backed into a corner and have to stop you in the interest of public safety. If there were a way to just throw pillows at career felons to make them stop and it worked, i'm sure everyone on this planet would agree that's a much better method. But in this world, police have to react quickly, based on a fluid and changing situation and know they are dealing with an asshole that doesn't care about hurting others. Am I saying they deserve to die or defending the officers. No, i'm not you. I'd need to look at and weigh all the facts behind "the officers shot them" to assess the facts and have an informed opinion and personally, i don't give a fuck enough about a career criminal that got shot by 13 police officers after a 20 minute police chase to look into it. |
I'm reading a fascinating book called "The Last Narco." It is about the rise to power of El Chapo, Mexico's biggest and most notorious drug lord. The book covers the history of the drug trade and it is interesting to see how the US war on drugs basically caused all the violence and crime in Mexico surrounding the drug trade.

The ranch raid is just the next step in the increased pace of the Military to regain the upper hand. Will be some more firefights to come I'd imagine soon. |
White folks are just as bad... We just do it on a MUCH larger scale with better weapons...

Moreover, Serbia was entitled to some (very) small chunks of present day Croatia as well. Thing is, assholes such as yourself will forever diminish the veracity of Serbia's cause. And that too is a given. |

you supported croat terrorists who hijacked TWA planes in the USA, stormed embassies in the USA, planted bombs in US subways, and tried to blow up the statue of liberty...on the other side the ultra ignorant USA actually made a muslim state out of bosnia...and then I do not have to mention kosovo and the heroin money that lobbied US "Democracy" in to """""""""""""liberating"""""""""""""" kosovo... I would really really really have to try really really hard to out-asshole any american who thinks he has an opinion on US foreign policy :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

You willfully ignore all the Lives put at risk as they sped through traffic and crowded streets, the complete and total disregard for the safety of others, all the near misses, all the people almost killed and them almost running over officers. You'd like to believe cops just walked up to an innocent person and shot him, but that's far from an honest representation of the full facts and circumstances. You are incapable of intellectual honesty because you are driven by emotion, not the truth and not full weight of all the facts. |
Moral of the story: If you've ever done anything wrong in your life better make sure your car doesn't backfire, otherwise people like TheSquealer will defend cops blasting 137 shots at you.

Moral of the story... Don't become a career felon and don't take 100 police officers on a high speed chase putting countless lives in danger, including innocent children
I am not defending police. I am defending the facts and certain individuals desire to create a false narrative as usual. He probably shouldn't have been shot.... but he definitely did his part to escalate the situation to that point, including trying to run over police officers. They definitely weren't trying to diffuse the situation, put both hands out the window and drop the keys on the ground. They could have not acted like fucking idiots, knowin full well what the consequences are... but they chose to go the opposite direction and escalate the situation. You are another one that is fully Incapable of being intellectually honest. He wasn't shot because his car backfired. That's a lie you are telling because like a troubled teen, you hate authority. And have no respect for authority figures. |
