Why is it so impossible to surpass The Hun?

Is is? Why? I'd far prefer to use the hun if I still surfed for porn.

It's not because he's "better". He's just very reliable, and visitors get their updates daily no matter what, it's taken him years to get to that place. Search engines love fresh links. He's there because he's stuck to his guns.

Because you can choose the galleries with the most beautiful women inside. If it wasn't a brilliant idea, xapster's web sites Teenie Files and URL=http://www.teeniefiles.com/]Mad Thumbs[/URL] wouldn't be so popular.

As long as Mad Thumbs and those are a redirection / pop-up hell / dialer download pit, they'll never come close to the Hun.

I had a webmaster of one of those thumb TGPs say to me "fuck the surfer" - and there's the biggest difference.

How can you say madthumbs is better than the hun? Who's done more than anyone to make sure his links always work and the surfers never get fucked around? Who's updated every day since 1996, minus a couple missed days?

You can definitely be too nice to the surfer. IF you're too nice, you don't earn any $$. There's a fine line between TOO nice and TOO harsh. He's just got momentum from being one of the early ones. Just like PK.

Another clueless newbie. If you know how to use his traffic a hun listing makes more per k of traffic than most other TGP's out there.

I think he was a pioneer - if you allow me to call him that - he knew he had gold, now when the opportunity to sell the goldmine (or to make some extra bucks by screwing around his surfers) came, he decided he would hold on to the goldmine and dig out every nugget until it's just grains of sand - he maintained the good thing that he had going - which was surfers who believed he wasn't going to fuck them over - they trust him.

What does he have now? A steady stream of traffic - surfers, who speak well about his site 'if the subject comes up' - advertisers who like his traffic. What more does he need?

Oh I forgot, the downside of being number one is everyone below who want you out or think you don't deserve it.


BTW, before you all say I'm kissing ass - I don't submit to his site but know people who do and love his traffic.

A. I'm *not* a newbie... I've been doing this for years.
B. I'm not talking about "using his traffic" as in posting... the discussion was about how he runs his own TGP to make money for himself.:throwup

So. I know quite a few people been doing this for a lot of years and still struggle to make 500 bucks a month. It's fuck all to do with how long you've been around and far more to do with having a clue.

Your answer suggested that he makes no dollars for himself because he's 'too nice'. Not only is that so wrong it's funny it would also imply his traffic makes no money.

I'll stick to my original statement by saying you really don't have a clue.
