Design help
 

I'm busy creating a new site, and I wanted to get some opinions on what I have so far. What I'm thinking of right now is something along the lines of the link below, although that's merely a concept and would still need loads of work.

There's really nothing here to review. Rounded edges, yellow and red colors, nice font. Blah blah blah.

That background color hurts.

Thanks for the feedback. Right now I'm just playing around a bit, trying my first steps in designing, so I don't really need any help... just lots of time :)
