Value is a very subjective term. These sites have as much value as you think they do. I just arbitrarily appraised them at 5k because i need the cash.
I never actually "worked" in the biz, let alone have a "company". I see the site I like, buy it but quickly lose interest and never get around to marketing it. So I just decided to sell what I've "collected" over time.

You know, that's an interesting idea.
I would definitely consider any propositions like these. However, it's difficult to determine whether someone has the skills and resources to successfully run them since we're talking about the future potential, and there're no guarantees. Also, from a legal standpoint it's more complicated.
But not a bad idea.

From what I saw with the Russian site you are best off out of the industry. That content will never make money.
