What grade in school would you revisit?

Heard this on the radio the other day as the morning question.

What grade in school would you like to revisit - and why?

I rather hated school...so it was a difficult call for me. But I'd have to say perhaps grade eleven. It was my most active year in high school sports - I was on both the football and rugby teams...and track 'n field. And I had my driver's license...so I had more freedom and mobility.

And there was an endless number of parties to attend. :winkwink:

Or perhaps it could be rephrased - which grade did you hate the least...and why?

7th grade. English class. Miss Cordone. She read a lot of Greek mythology to us and I was fascinated by how tender she was and how sweet her voice sounded when she was reading.

That's about the only thing I can ever recall really liking about learning in school.

In high school I spent all of my time in the lunch room learning sign language, pretty much all I learned there. I was just waiting to turn 16 so I could get on with life outside of school.

Well, there ya' go. Just took a rephrasing tweak to have you choose one. :winkwink:

I never had an English teacher I liked or admired...until college. Ms. Oakley - she seemed to like my creative writing - which encouraged me considerably at the time. She had a real passion and enthusiasm for teaching, her classes were always a joy and something I looked forward to each week. I briefly considered switching majors...until I regained my focus.

It's pretty amazing when you do get a good teacher. I wish they could all be like that one. I probably would have learned a whole lot more.

Do you still write? What was your major that you almost switched away from?

I don't write much these days - never seem to find the time. Back then it was more cathartic than anything. I somewhat burned out a long while ago...my interests shifted.

I majored in computer graphics/technical illustration. It was 25 yrs. ago, though...eons in illustration terms. Pshop and Corel were both in their infancy and the systems they ran on were archaic by today's standards.

When I was a schoolboy, we had 10th-grade school (today it's 10-th grade). But I don't want back to school again nor to the university either. I'm still having nightmares where I find out there is only a few days left before the protection of my diploma and it the same time I realize I even haven't started working on it :1orglaugh

Jesse1984 04-23-2015 05:30 AM

I hated school but I'd definitely redo my senior year of high school. Soooooo much fucking dumb little Florida beach bunnies.

Well, a guy like you has to get sex somehow? If God didn't make dumb girls, you'd never get laid.

Oops... Mrs. Andreson... Hawaiian babe. think she was around 26 years old. Every kid in school would just drool over Mrs. Hawaiian Tropics.

Yeah, didn't like school much, but prob the days of those instant boners without a reason and dark corner kissing with the chicks from my class.

Wendy-Etology 04-23-2015 11:02 AM

freshman year in high school

mineistaken 04-23-2015 11:17 AM

Any grade, loved it (even considering that I was youngest in class so did not have most respect in terms of who is the toughest), you do not care much about anything, but games and friends etc. Life is fun then :)

I am pretty sure that 10 grade school was for not learning oriented or for those not aspiring to go to university. Everybody else went 12 years.

Sunny Day 04-23-2015 11:42 AM

School

Almost all my high school English teachers were cool hotties.

Kindergarten was great. Spent it making out with a beautiful blond.

11th grade- my 1st romance. She wanted me for my body. She wanted to get pregnant and married. That way she wouldn't have to take care of her 6 younger brothers. Twisted logic

9th grade...I had this English teacher named Mr. Snow who ironically was black and always had the biggest bulge in his pants. I used to jerk off in the boys room thinking about him.

Year later, after I graduated high school I finally got into his pants...he was older (as was I) but it was worth the wait. I will spare you the details but let's just say that my 18 year old ass really enjoyed Mr. Snow!

poncabare 06-14-2015 03:39 AM

College easily

ErectMedia 06-14-2015 07:18 AM

5th or 6th, first time I got a classmate and her sister to put my penis in their mouths. :2 cents:

What a pathetic juvenile question.

"I rather hated school" explains it though.

People who went to college don't think about what grade they were in anymore.

Simply put :

- anybody who studied in high school studied harder in college
- anybody who played football in high school played harder football in college
- anybody who partied in high school partied harder in college
- anybody who fucked in high school fucked harder in college
- anybody who went to college totally fucking forgot about high school.

Vendzilla 06-15-2015 03:43 PM

I don't know, had a great 6th grade that got me started in math
an 8th grade teacher that that also was great with math
My 10th grade science teacher was a little afraid of me after I blew up a desk
and I took 4 years of metal shop, I had better tools at home, so if the teacher gave me something I didn't want to do, I did it over the weekend on better equipment. My step dad was a machinist and had a home shop.

Rochard 06-15-2015 09:48 PM

Sophmore or Junior for me; I didn't make it till senior year.

I had fun in high school really. Just didn't bother with studying.
