Old Man Shoots 3 Burglars Trying To Rape His Granddaughter
A grandfather has been praised for his actions after shooting three burglars that raided his home and attempted to rape his 19-year-old granddaughter.
The incident happened in Lumberton, North Carolina on Monday night when three men stormed the unknown man?s house and made him open his safe at gunpoint.
Wearing all black clothes, gloves and ski masks the men then targeted the grandfather?s 19-year-old granddaughter, and attempted to rape her while being ordered to empty his safe.
However, during the commotion, the grandfather managed to take a gun off one of the men and proceeded to shoot them all ? killing one and injuring the others.
Unfortunately, he was also shot in the process and is currently in critical condition after being air-lifted to a hospital close by.
A relative of the brave man said:
He is out of surgery but is still critical in ICU!! Thanks everyone for all your prayers just keep them coming!!! But the intruders have been caught!!!
And we hope he pulls through! A true hero.
