if Chrome is slow as fuck try this... it just brought life back to Chrome for me......

"Set an entry in your ?Hosts? file as ?127.0.0.1 ajax.googleapis.com?."

I don't have any issues with Chrome being slow. I have a handful of extensions, and I've never had any problems.
