Crowdraising / donate for semi-adult and adult projects?
 

Can you recommend any?

I have seen adult related stuff on gofundme.com but I don't want to take risk of having the funds removed / account closed.

Scenario 1
Fundrising for hiring a developer for my dating website (improvements, new features). This can allow me to keep the site free without "VIP" accounts (paid)

Scenario 2
Donate button on my blog. Don't want to use Paypal.

Any suggestions?

You could ask their support?

You mean gofundme.com? Their TOS says you the project shouldn't be explicit. What is worse it even says sexually suggestive". That means they can close your account for any reason. Same goes for Paypal.

as you'll see on other threads, don't use paypal to buy intangible products

Fully aware of this issue.

Sidenote - another Paypal horror story:

A friend of mine runs a female wrestling site www.fightpulse.com. No nudity. He asked Paypal if he can process via them. They CONFIRMED. 4 weeks later they closed his account.

I really HATE inconsistency of Paypal.
