I just meant that I saw this same thread about 3 days ago but did'nt bother to read it hence the question mark.

The US had the Iraq oil fields during the first gulf war and did not take them. If this is all about oil then why didn't they take the fields the first time?
I think this is all about 9/11 and teaching the middle east that they shouldn't ever fuck with us.
