I love Top Gear and a huge part of why I love it is Jeremy Clarkson. He will call it like it is, he sometimes gets too into it and can say dumb shit but that makes it better for me. Top Gear is one of the most successful TV shows globally, they would do well to put this behind them and get all sorted out asap before another network throws a contract at him and makes their own TV show. There is rumours he is tiring of the constant BS that comes with working for the BBC and being accountable to the license payer. If you ask me, we need more shows like this on the BBC instead of Eastenders or whatever other shit shows they broadcast.

I agree, although not sure how easy it would be for him to compete with them. I'm sure that there are some iron clad contracts in place to prevent competition.

It always feels like Richard Hammond and James May are there solely to keep Jeremy reined in. But the best parts always come when they lose control of him and the real Jeremy gets out of his cage. I can't see the show getting the same draw without him.

There won't be an episode, they cancelled the show that was meant to be made on Sunday.

Top Gear lost its appeal quite some time ago now, it was fantastic in the early years, but now is just the same stuff rehashed over and over again.

i see, i was under the impression the episode was in the can but won't be aired.

I've got every season, including season 1 sans james may, all the specials. While I agree the early episodes are repeat watchable, I do find these later seasons to also be entertaining.

the only episode i do not have is the one where hammond crashed the dragster and as far as I know, that one never made it across the pond. I think I've seen it though, can;t recall.

I loved the brilliant but rubbish series they did. I even got my girl watching it. They will et past this, Jeremy has been doing this since they began with a 30 minute show, now I think I saw where they have 350 million viewers?
