Anyway, I don't think I will be buying an Apple Watch just yet. I will definitely go and check them out though. And really, just like any computer, its success depends a lot of the applications for it. Let's check back with each other in a year from now and see what it can really do.

Also, I don't really buy gold. I prefer silver / platinum colors to gold.

Granted a Rolex is just as retarded. But they don't sell a 399 version as a competitor to their 10k version.

I hate o burst everybody's bubble in this thread, but to some people? Believe it or not... $10,000 isn't a whole hell of a lot of money. There are a LOT of people on this planet that look at $10k like you may look at a few hundred dollars.

exactly... for 10k you can buy a quality (Swiss made) watch from (middle market brands) like Breitling, Tag Heuer, Logines, IWC, Tudor, Omega, Tissot, Zenith...

(Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin or Patek Philippe might be out of that budget but these are timeless watches and are status symbols as well...)
