Who is going to buy the 10k Apple watch?
I like apple stuff but what is that about? 10k for same watch just because they gold plated it?

What do you do when it is obsolete in 18 months?
|
What happens in 6 months when it's obsolete? Melt it down?
|
I'm selling my Rolex to get one. Will make a great addition to my Apple family.
Best invention yet! I can't wait for the Apple earrings. Those are slated for 2017. |

Anyway, I don't think I will be buying an Apple Watch just yet. I will definitely go and check them out though. And really, just like any computer, its success depends a lot of the applications for it. Let's check back with each other in a year from now and see what it can really do. Also, I don't really buy gold. I prefer silver / platinum colors to gold. |
Granted a Rolex is just as retarded. But they don't sell a 399 version as a competitor to their 10k version.
Edit did some math. Rolex does do this. |
Correct answer = Some fools will.

gold is a horrible colour for people to wear anyway, it always looks tacky.
|
no, thank you..
|
Shoot, I haven't even owned an iPod yet. Frankly I'm not sure that technology will be much more than a fad. So I'm on the fence.
|
Wouls rather invest in a Rolex,at least it would hold its value
|
No thanks, I already have a hourglass and a sundial :D
|
No, but I will check out the cheap one for shits and giggles. Released a few days before my birthday, now I have something to get myself.
|
The people who have more money than brains will buy it.
|
It will be a moron indicator.

I hate o burst everybody's bubble in this thread, but to some people? Believe it or not... $10,000 isn't a whole hell of a lot of money. There are a LOT of people on this planet that look at $10k like you may look at a few hundred dollars.
Just saying. :glugglug Bill Gates Dollars Another way to examine this sort of wealth is to compare it to yours. Consider an average American of modest wealth. Perhaps she has a net worth of $70,000. Mr. Gates' worth is 800,000 times larger. Which means that if something costs $100,000 to her, to Bill it's as though it costs 12 cents. You can work out the right multiplier for your own net worth. So for example, you might think a new Lambourghini Diablo would cost $250,000, but in Bill Gates dollars that's 31 cents. That fully loaded, multimedia active matrix 233 MHZ laptop with the 1024x768 screen you've been drooling after? Half a penny. A nice home in a rich town like Palo Alto, California? Two dollars. That nice mansion he's building? A more reasonable $63 to him. You might spend $50 on tickets, food and parking to take your date to see an NHL hockey game. Bill, on the other hand could buy the team for 50 Bill-bills. You might buy a plane ticket on a Boeing 747 for $1200 at full-fare coach. In Bill-bills, Mr. Gates could buy six 747s (Not tickets, the planes themselves). Two for him, two for Melinda and two for young Jennifer Katherine. |

(Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin or Patek Philippe might be out of that budget but these are timeless watches and are status symbols as well...) |

Just because is Gold....if you're about to spend 10k on a watch , there are way better options to choose from :winkwink:

It's probably recording exactly how many strokes it takes for you to ejaculate, then saving it on the cloud. Market research is so valuable these days. Every data is needed.

It's for people who wipe their ass with $10k and like Apple products.
And a few people who can't afford it will also buy it. |
