Paul&John 03-02-2015 09:57 AM

Not sure if it's the same taste wise :)

Kangaroo meat is pretty good.

Ordered a kangaroo burger in Vancouver, and assumed it was some hipster restaurant worker getting creative with the menu names.... It was actually kangaroo, and it was really good

Nobody from South America? I'm pretty sure they eat it over there

Far-L 03-03-2015 10:39 AM

It is delicious. Closer to goat than to cow in flavor. :2 cents:

Tastes good. I had lama burger in Lima. It's not as common in Peru as you'd think though. They also have dried raw lama meat. Haven't tried it yet.

The llama (Lama glama) is a domesticated South American camelid, widely used as a meat and pack animal by Andean cultures since pre-Hispanic times.
