    Business Google+ Pages Audience Setting?

let me apologize in advance if this has been discussed but here goes:

what exactly is the purpose of the Google Pages Audience Setting. if you're familiar with running a page there (maybe even personal profiles, i'm no sure) then you'll know you can set the page for an audience for users everyone, 18+ or 21+.

based on this, i would assume if you've set your audience to any setting 18 or over then if users should expect to see content intended for adults only on your page. i don't mean harcore, i mean nude and/or partially nude content.

my page was suspended for 'pornographic' content. i'm sure this is an age old debate on what's considered 'porn' but in any case, the page is already DEFINED as intended for adults containing adult content. i don't get it

I'm not sure why they give you those options - G+ is PG only...

my point exactly. it's like saying, "hey...you can restrict your page to only adults but don't post shit intended strictly for adults here'. wait...WUT?

Did you set your pages to 21+ ?
If it has marketing materials on it Google+ may have issues with it as well. Why not, the Google fucksters seem to have so many issues these days.

If the page has watermarks on images or links to sites with nude material you may want to make sure you have an RTA rating active on those pages.

the site has not been verified so the public can't see a link to the site. once it is verified, it'll just be a splash page with links to social media accounts. i've posted on their forum and 'help' community and they all seem to be clueless. it's unbelievable i'm the only webmaster wondering about this...

I was not aware of this setting, and it would be good if it could make a difference there. As far as I know Google+ is not good for adult, all together, as you cant even link to anything that resembles porn, from there (but I may be wrong, maybe this is what these settings are for).
