Question about absinthe beverages
I know that there is a lot of gourmets here on the forum.
So i'm looking for an absinthe alcohol that doesn't taste so much like anise. Seriously, it's better than pastis but it still taste too much like pastis... |
Death Surrender also known as Death in the Afternoon or a Hemingway
Cocktail with Absinthe, Champagne and whatever else you want to mix it up with. alternatively the closest you can get to a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster is the following 3 shots of Absinthe 2 shots of Jägermeister 2 shots of Vodka (Cherry Flavour) 1 shot of Jack Daniels 1/4 a cup of lemonade Half a squeeze of lime Then you need to mix this in a cocktail flask for 5 minutes, no longer, no shorter. Then pour and enjoy :) |

if you want a smooth absinthe get this one: http://www.arizonafoothillsmagazine....absinthe_3.jpg Pernod absinthe 68%. Mix with icewater & sugar and it's the best absinthe you ever had. Ofcourse still an anise taste but not such a strong taste like other absinthes. |
