American Horror Story jumping the shark?
 

No BM here to post this already, but I just got this across my facebook feed:



So, not only is Gaga involved with AHS season 5, but it's called "Hotel."

I will readily admit that I actually stopped watching Freak Show. I found most of it boring, uninspired, and un-original. I've heard people talking about how the season came to an end, but with the disappointment I felt early on, I don't even have a desire to watch the rest of the season.

This "reveal" from Lady Gaga and Ryan Murphy does little for me in a horror sense. This seems like a huge grab at a mainstream audience (Gaga's fanbase). It sure as hell doesn't scream horror to me.

That title is lame as hell, too, but I can only hope that they do something with ghosts and hauntings in a hotel, like how in Season 1 it got to a point where you didn't know who was alive and who was a ghost.

But I'm not feeling to optimistic.

That show jumped the shark in the first season...but in a good way. I like that it goes off the rails.

First season was awesome, the rest was really bad.

Most recent season left me unimpressed. The other seasons were way better imo and "hotel" could go really bad.

The most recent season was a disappointment. It was largely just a retelling of the Tod Browning movie "Freaks." I think they meant it to be an homage, but it was more of a retelling.

Hotel Hell and Psycho immediately come to my mind.

I like the last season. I haven't seen the others.

I lost interest with the Coven season and havent been back to watch Freaks because of it.
