Chemicals are used in the mining for frac sand process, among other environmental concerns.

Fracking itself is a completely independent issue.

Walker has about as much chance of becoming president as Al Sharpton does.. :1orglaugh

It is a shame to see the beautiful bluffs in Western WI getting minded. Lots of people against it putting signs on their properties along highway 35.

I live in NY. We just banned all fracking. So my guess would be "No".

I am surprised Walker is still in the running. Minte mentioned him and told us he was the next President and was quickly run out of town.

Again, fracking and mining for frac sand - two seperate issues.

And with a new president, things could possibly change ......?

I could give a crap about sand and fracking but his stance against small breweries is enough for even my most conservative beer drinking friends to vote for Hillary instead.

It's a ban on any fracking related industry if I'm not mistaken.

Take a drive through WV and some of the coal producing states. What you will; see will make you sick. They destroy entire mountains strip mining coal.. This kind of destruction should be illegal..
