How do you figure out how much to ask....
 

I'm looking to sell my paysite... well it's actually a 4 page tour it's been hooked to ynp since I upped it.

I haven't had the time or patience to deal with it and I found out where I am, it's illegal for me to run a paysite. *sighs*

Anyways, how would you find a asking price for the domain and the tour?

I was offered $400.00, but I was told the design was worth $800.00 alone.

Its called pussypleazers and I was told it's illegal to run it in Escambia Florida....

That was just the straw that broke the camels back. I run a successful content site, so I haven't had time to put into the paysite as is needed.

I also had the domain appraised... they told me 10k ....

that's absurd, right? can't be worth THAT much??

Nope I surely haven't .... was sort of taking that guys word for it.


And yes I did pay for the appraisal, before I got it. I had been told the company I went to was a good one, and they come up with 10k!????! I totally knew it was bogus.... but then again I've been shocked a few times in this industry.....

If ya can't get it appraised, or that isn't used to gauge the value of your site, then how in the world do you agree on a price between seller and buyer ....
