Phone aficionados - Most FUTURE PROOF Phone?

Say if I were to purchase a phone in the next 3 months or so... What would be the most future proof one to get?

I wouldn't get an iPhone as they are updated every ten minutes, and I would get a Samsung Galaxy as that seems to be the same... Or am I wrong?

All phones pretty much change at the same rate. Samsung or Apple, you cant go wrong with either brand. I had apple for 5 years and switched to samsung note 4 and have been loving it. The large screen and stylus is great

I would suggest the Oneplus One, or the Oneplus Two that will be released in Q3 2015

BlackBerry z30
Shitty appstore, but a pleasure to use if you need to do any work on the road

I really want one of these but they aren't available now.

Amazon.com: Bluetooth Portable Rotary Phone - Red: Everything Else

I run a list where people buy and sell things locally.

iPhone 4 still bring in a $100 and people want them...even though they are 5 years old.

An 8 month old Droid something other sells for about the same price on this list.

Apples old phones typically get updated for a number of years. There are a number of Android phones that get released and never see an update.

I don't understand the constant need to update a phone every so often. They are all pretty much the same, and not really much different than the ones a few years ago. My last phone was an android, and so is my current. The only difference between the two is the size.

I also find it funny that for a while we were trying to make phones super small, now they are getting bigger again.

I totally agree with you on this. I remember when they were the size of a briefcase and got smaller and more dare I say "mobile" and now everyone seems to want them larger again.

Seems to me that the same marketing that keeps fashion going in cycles so people constantly need to buy new clothing is going on here. After all it you had the same phone for years and years think of all the poor children in China that would have nothing to do!

IMO the best bet is to STAY OFF CONTRACT whatever you do.

Blackberry Classic!
QWERTY business phones tend to have much longer "life" as still "new enough".
Plus it is the most productive you could get, plus BB 0S is awesome, HUB, BLEND functions...
Plus you can run android apss on it...

Just do what I say and be happy.
