Do you think Bush will get re-elected in 2004?

Morgan 03-15-2003 04:47 PM

wow, 100% unanimous!!! awesome!

goBigtime 03-15-2003 04:52 PM

I only think he'll be re-elected because the polls are supposed to be 100% computerized next time around.

Tipsy 03-15-2003 04:56 PM

Depends entirely on how the Iraq thing goes.

I think he'll be voted out and voted that way in the poll. However it is entirely possible a quick and 'successful' win could get him enough votes. Winning small wars seems to impress people for some reason.

MetaformX 03-15-2003 05:30 PM

Frankly, I would feel very bad for the incoming president, whoever it is.

He will have to deal with a huge occupation and rebuilding of Iraq, an ailing economy which is not getting any better, and general disdain from every other country regarding the American foreign policy.

It is my opinion that America has taken a big step backward because of Mr. Bush, and we will pay the price for it down the line.

Gemini 03-15-2003 05:47 PM

Gawd I hope he doesn't! :1orglaugh

Kris 03-15-2003 05:49 PM

who will the demo candidate be?

Gemini 03-15-2003 05:51 PM

The REALLY sad thing is, 100000% of us can vote against him, and the antique Electoral College could still vote him in. :disgust

Rocky 03-15-2003 05:58 PM

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

rooster 03-15-2003 06:26 PM

Bush will win unless its like the 92 election where a 3rd party candidate takes some conservative vote.

Lane 03-15-2003 06:30 PM

he's gotta go :ak47:

MattO 03-15-2003 06:31 PM

Yea... who the fuck are the Dems going to run? So far noone promising has been brought up that I've seen.

kenny 03-15-2003 06:51 PM

It is president bush's fault. He is the current president, it is all his fault. I blame Bush. He is the reason why many pussy americans are afraid to fly watching airlines going out of buisness, he is the reason why people are afraid to spend. After all Iraq probably would win in the event of war and the american dollar will become useless. Getting your foot in the door of a oil rich country will never help the economy. He had two whole years and he still hasn't developed a record breaking econmic plan that will help this country.

kenny 03-15-2003 06:59 PM

Granted he is by far not the greatest president ever, I dont think it is fair to blindly point fingers and place blame. America is soft, a little war and a terroist attack has a huge impact on the economy. Lots of pussys in the states.

tomax 03-15-2003 07:53 PM

the reason americans are afraid to fly is not bush it is spet. 11th.
The man 100% responsible for Spet 11th Bill Clinton. # seperate CIA agents have come forward saying that they had Bin ladin ready to be captured and Clinton let it pass. Not suprising as this was pre monica scandle. If it had been durring the Monica scandles he would have done something about it, hence his "Monica Missles" shot at alleged Al queada(sp) camps. In my opinion Bush's only major fault is that he has done next to nothing to help the economy. If the Democrats want to win the next election they had better pick a damn good canidate as all the ones getting ready to run atm all suck.

The economy was in the shitter at towards the middle of the Clinton days... Bush is trying to clean up his shit lol The next president will have to continue to clean up clintons shit and bushes shit.

dapproid 03-16-2003 05:39 AM

He's way to dumb to get re-elected... will not bother to find a qoute but as you all know, there are many

LMAO Itīs a DemoCrazy instead of a democracy. It must be a
really shit job to take over from Bush the effects of Bush his 4
years will only become really clear and visible after heīs gone.

DynaMite :thumbsup

Theo 03-16-2003 06:09 AM

Personally I didn't mind to see the changes of a republican president and compare with the past democrats, but I didn't want to see Bush as president.

I was sure he'll fuck things, he did it and worse things will follow.

The new US president would have to deal with many problems and open situations, I hope it will be someone VERY VERY capable.

Are you kidding? the economy was in the shitter in the mid-clinton years? Did you miss one of the most prosperous times in economic history? Were you under a rock?

Sarah_Jayne 03-16-2003 06:39 AM

wanting him to and thinking he will are two different things.

Filter 03-16-2003 06:45 AM

if there is any justice he won't but I voted yes. It seems this starting-a-war-business is a great (guaranteed) way of getting re-elected so I just don't see how he would lose if the war in iraq breaks out.

You need to turn off the radio. :1orglaugh

Remember when Republicans used to talk about "personal responsibility"? That was back when they blamed Clinton for everything bad that happened anywhere in the world.

I don't think we've heard the phrase "personal responsibility" once since Bush took office. :1orglaugh

Everything is someone else's fault.

Vendot 03-16-2003 07:43 AM

Oh god please man.....

I pray he wont be re-elected, for the good of humanity.

Simon-interaid 03-16-2003 08:14 AM

As long as there are still millions of americans in Texas etc....

George W will get all their votes.

do you understand how business is ran?

it was a virtual economy man,
the internet ipo stocks was a joke,
enron, worldcom, and other business cooked up the books
that great economy wasn't real

Gemini 03-16-2003 09:00 AM

still millions of americans in Texas...

Texas is Large, yes, but the population isn't all that large. ;-)

Odd how everyone has forgotten that one Texas Senator making the comment that he was happy that Bush was running for President... when asked why specifically, He said to get him OUT of Texas. :Graucho

that great economy wasn't real...

True to a DEGREE, but no one cooked up the Government SURPLUSES. That we HAD a balanced budget.

Everyone cries about Dems spending money on the poor, schooling etc etc, but how is it that Republicans as a matter of priority head straight to medicare and Social Security and do their best to drain it dry??

If it's going to be spent anyway... ask yourself, would you HONESTLY rather see it spent on our own people or off in some other country (or spent on Republicans ideas of important 'stuff' here that is basically BS) while our own go hungry.

Ever see one of those commercials begging for 70 cents a day with an Appalachian or Native American child on them? Nope. WHO deserves that tax dollar first? Some kid from a third world country or how about paying out millions to coat some constituents pockets with a worthless unnecessary contract?

I'm not saying we should NOT help other countries, but we send them millions of tons of food... why don't others kick in the cash since we cover the stomach side?

All you big talking Repubs take a ride thru the appalachians this summer... OFF of the freeways, or how about getting a pass to go backroad n a Res? You say they have the same chances we all do? Then go look at their schools. See if you *still* think they have the same chance.

Signed,
An EX Repubfool. (I Claim NO affiliation to ANY party but since they insist, I either register Inde, or Dem. Never again will I be a fool)

BTW, according to my Landscape Architectural Counselor in college, there are NO such things as bushes. But this country elected one. ;-)

clickpimp 03-16-2003 09:17 AM

Bush in 2004, is a lock.

The real question is how well will Jeb Bush do in 2008 and 2012. We could have Bush's in the White house for the next 12 years :helpme

Oh, and we will see Dan Quayle in a few primaries coming up in the next 10 years. :winkwink:
