Best Asia/Pacific Dedicated Server or VPS?
 

Looking for something which is decent and well established and with a good reputation.

iWeb was great for a while but they have gone to shit and have started messing with their customers. We need to find something decent before we can ditch them and until then we are caught in the iWeb so to speak. What we need is pretty basic for serving fast web pages:

Amazon EC2 have servers in Singapore and Sydney now. You need to be a tiny bit technical or you can hire someone to configure it all.

Rather go with a long term well established name.

Amazon has 27% worldwide market share of cloud computing. It's the market leader and a well established name.

Netflix, Dropbox, AirBnB, Reddit are all using Amazon AWS.

In all seriousness, don't host porn in a Sydney (or any Australian) data centre - you might end up getting an ACMA notice.

Choose somewhere else in the region.

i would not go with amazon i would pick digital ocean. They are really fast with ssd and cheaper plus the support is great.

You can upgrade whenever needed. digitalocean.com

Also have a look at vultr.com another good company with fast ssd vps servers. Price is also great.
