Bad experience with Program3

Hello!

About half a year ago I started working with Program3 using one specific promotional strategy (involving rewatermarking their promo videos). I immediately got contacted by their manager Brandon, who said, that it was important to follow certain guidelines in order to use my strategy. Otherwise, he approved of my approach.
Ever since I strictly followed their rules. I was doing pretty well, especially in the end of the year. However, in the beginning of January I received e-mail, that my Program3 account was terminated. I contacted their support and got reply from manager Steve saying, that I breached ToS by rewatermarking their videos. I explained the situation, copied text from one of the letters from manager Brandon and promised to follow their rules and use other strategies, once they reopen my account. It seemed to me, that it was pure misunderstanding and I did not feel like losing rather big sum of money on my account. I also reread ToS multiple times and could not find anything concerning the situation. After Steve promised to look into this in a couple of days I got no reply. I tried contacting them on several occasions in the course of two weeks, but now it was clear, that both my message and the problem were ignored.

The industry is not exactly blooming and it is rather difficult for webmasters to earn anything. It turns out, that earning is only half of the deal - one might not always get paid for his efforts. The company was very well aware of rewartermarked videos being out there since day 1. My account was only terminated after my earnings exceeded certain limit. It's kinda sad and demotivating as long as these double standards exist.

Oh, and my question was... How often do things like that happen? Does it make sense to keep income as low as possible for every sponsor, so they don't have second though about paying you, and just try to involve as many programs as possible?

It happens a lot. This business is filled with complete scumbags now at the top and they think it is perfectly okay to ripoff others (some of them will probably reply to this with various cute replies - they all back up each other because they are all collectively crooks and total scumbags). My advice is to focus your efforts on another industry or at the least diversify heavily.

let's see an example video? can't judge honestly until then, sorry.

Diversifying is my new strategy.
But sad part is that I never expected something ugly from a big name company like BangBros (Program3 belongs to them). Don't know whom to trust from now on. Ripoffs like that hurt the industry the most.

Their guidelines were 7 minutes, no cumshots.
I cut all the videos myself, from scratch using their original material.
I prefer not to show it here for obvious reasons :)

Frankly the entire top of the adult industry is filled shoulder to shoulder with total scumbags at this point. I find myself cheering on and hoping some government agency will find cause to make waves in a big way and start seizing assets and tossing these assholes in prison.

hey denis

just had reconstructive knee surgery, so been kind of out of it. brandon is no longer here.

you weren't terminated cause you reached a certain earnings level. it was because the watermark issue, and then found you had a high level of chargebacks while we were talking.

i'll reinstate it for now, but if you come back again with high cbs and not use our watermarket, it'll be done

pushkidman 01-29-2015 11:42 AM

OK, good to hear that!
It will take me a day to remove all existing videos and we'll hopefully continue co-work.

Hello,

Let me add my thoughts on this one Please: more or less we are in the same shoes. My colleagues are working with BBO content not Program3. We drive usual traffic to them as well [~10-25%] but main part is watermark traffic. Our payments arrive on time [making ~2k/month w BBO...], but making an agreement with BBO [getting green lights] is a real challenge. Actually BBO is the only big sponsor that has problems with this method. I do understand the suspicious approach, over-watermarking should be done by reliable people only [webmasters with a clean reputation/past] but it should not be a problem.
