The disturbing world of amateur pornography laid bare

The disturbing world of amateur pornography has been laid bare by a new documentary called 'Hot Girls Wanted,' which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday.
The insightful look at the world of pornography shows just how easy it is for teenagers, in particular, to get caught up in a sex trade that promises big bucks and fame.
But in a revealing peek into the billion dollar industry, documentary filmmakers exposed how professionally produced films are being made to look like home movies.

18 year olds being lured into porn, whatever next ? :upsidedow

bronco67 01-26-2015 08:29 AM

When the human 18 year old female brain evolves and develops that section that weighs consequences earlier in life, then maybe this "problem" will be fixed. Until then, hooray for 18 year old girls who don't make good choices!!!!

The Porn Nerd 01-26-2015 09:59 AM

Porn porn dirty porn. LOL

Rochard 01-26-2015 10:16 AM

Society has this impression that a chick turns to porn and their life is destroyed. Nothing could be further from the truth. These chicks get filmed doing something they already do anyhow and make money from.

I remember years ago there was this one chick who ran the pizza counter at a gas station. She told me she could stand on her feet serving pizza for eight hours a day making eight dollars an hour... Or she could get paid $300 to get fucked on camera. She could make more money in two hours than she would make all week working at the gas station.

Five years later no one remembers what she did.

bronco67 01-26-2015 10:32 AM

Yeah I think general society has the impression that every girl has a Linda Lovelace experience.

NaughtyRob 01-26-2015 11:30 AM

Although I agree with you and yes minimum wage girls can make easy quick money but that is indeed how they get caught up in it, because after making that easy money its nearly impossible for them to go back to working fast food etc. :2 cents:

How horrible that young women love to have sex and get off being filmed doing it.

Please tell me that young guys don't enjoy that too?

Oh wait a minute...so do people in their 20's' 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's

What's next? An article called "The Disturbing World Of Granny Porn?"

Fucking grow up already. It's sex. It's fun. Repressed people should simply not be watching it and should let other people alone (and no, I'm not talking about the slave "sex trade" industry...that is NOT the adult industry that we belong to)

MrGusMuller 01-26-2015 12:58 PM

Today I'v read an article on vice saying that a pornstar could earn 3K per scene... Probably... but... why show this unreal values?!

Provided she was smart enough to not have her real name associated with the photos.

2MuchMark 01-26-2015 01:20 PM

We must have personally worked with well over 250 girls in our time (cam girls) in the industry and out of all of them, there were only 2 or 3 "red flags" - girls that seemed desperate, or doing this because they had to, or were being pushed into it by someone else. We never hired them.

The rest were all really smart and knew exactly what they were doing, knew the risks, and were completely fine with it. As cliche as it sounds, they all took the money to pay down their bills and student loans, finished college, and moved on to normal / mainstream lives.

czarina 01-26-2015 01:28 PM

Those darned pornographers!

MiamiBoyz 01-26-2015 01:28 PM

Most of these girls are simply sluts who would be giving it away so why not make a buck?

Seems pretty intelligent to me!

Katemeetsfate 01-26-2015 01:34 PM

where can i download this film? :)

Katemeetsfate 01-26-2015 01:40 PM

This film was made by the same people who made Sexy Baby (2012) Sexy Baby (2012) - IMDb

An ex adult film star, a 12 year old girl and a 22 year old who yearns for "normal" private parts are chronicled in this thought provoking doc about how porn, social media and pop culture affect women and girls.

It AMAZES me how I never, ever, EVER see anyone I know from "real life" on any of the myriad of porn sites I visit daily. I mean, I see millions of girls doing porn every single day for years now and I never see (or recognize?) someone I know.

I call bullshit!

"She said she earned $25,000 in her four months in the industry, but after paying for lingerie, manicures, makeup and biweekly STD tests, she only had about $2,000 in her bank account when she quit the business." SOURCE

Sounds like the film has the agenda of porn not being worth it for young girls. She paid $23,000 in 4 months on lingerie, manicures, makeup and STD tests? REALLY?! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The core narrative, shot over several months, follows the fortunes of four or five women who?ve signed with a Miami-based agency, Mofos, which uses Craigslist and similar sites to find fresh meat for its multiple platforms providing amateur porn content. Given bed and board at the dreary suburban home of dead-eyed agent Riley, and paid what seems to them vastly more money than they would usually earn doing minimum-wage jobs (although there are hidden expenses), the girls soon discover that their shelf-life is limited unless they become breakout stars.

Most don?t last more than three months in the job. For many, once their novelty value has worn off, they find themselves less in demand unless they?re willing to participate in ?specialist? films, ones involving forced oral sex, seemingly feigned violence, verbal abuse, and bondage.

A few years ago we were followed around by a film crew at XBiz. They were only interested in the dirt, the conflicts, the back-room shoots and basic scum of what she thought was the adult industry. When I explained that the show was full of legitimate business people with conferences on the actual genuine business of porn, the director wrapped up the shoot and promptly left.

Far-L 01-26-2015 06:48 PM

The first clue that they had no clue was calling Mofos "amateur". :2 cents:

You must not know many girls who did porn. Everyone knows what she did.

No shit. Mofos is owned by MindGeek isn't it? I've been an affiliate of Mofo's program since the day they opened the door.

It's just stupid how our industry is "covered" by outsiders.

You have weird conversations with strangers.

It is even weirder that you took a survey five years later to find out if anyone remembered. Shocked that everybody forgot about it, including her parents. But not you.

I've always been amazed at your ability to live such a full life as to have a story for every GFY thread while still managing to spend 20 hours a day on GFY.

I tip my hat to you sir.

The couldn't even get the company right (Hussie Models). Guess they have to sensationalize it ....don't think a warm story of a caring agent/pimp would sell so well.

Riley does find some fresh meat from the Florida boonies though....

In my experience, the girls sought me out. I hardly ever had to go around asking girls to get nekkid. Of course then again I had a loudmouth flagship.

Someone here should make a movie showing the good of the industry.

As far as the girl making 25K and still being broke, No trouble at all believing this. My ex worked in porn, I traveled with her and we had lots of fun but the money went out just as fast as it came in. We never returned home with over a few thousand.

Can't say about pornstars, but about camgirls, most of them are paid cash in hands in the studio and they go directly in shops rather than back to home to deposit the cash. The result is, the girl always is back in studio to work because just spent all the past week salary.
