A Myanmar woman beheaded in a Saudi street this week for killing her husband's young daughter is seen screaming her innocence in a video posted on the Internet Saturday.

Saudi authorities have arrested someone for filming the incident, said local newspaper websites, including Okaz and Al-Riyadh, in reports accompanied by still shots from the recording.

They did not say what the arrest was for.

The official Saudi Press Agency said Monday that Layla bint Abdul Mutaleb Bassim was executed in the Muslim holy city of Mecca for killing her husband's six-year-old daughter.

"Investigations led to her trial which proved she was guilty," the interior ministry said, quoted by SPA.

The child, also "Burmese," died from a beating and from being raped with a broomstick, it said.

"I did not kill. There is no God but God. I did not kill," cries the woman, covered in black, apparently kneeling on the pavement circled by police officers in the video on LiveLeak.

You're right. It's so crazy that there would be an investigation, an arrest, a trial, a conviction and a sentencing. That doesn't happen anywhere else in the world. Crazy shit right there! Even more strange is a convicted criminal claiming to be innocent. That never happens either.

That's their own way.. let it be.

If she was convicted after a fair trial then so be it. That is their way.
I highly doubt it was a fair trial though.

Father is a pedo. He molests and abuses daughter. She threatens to tell. He beats her and rapes her with a broomstick because he has erectile dysfunction. Daughter dies. He blames wife ( women are subhuman in that culture ). Wife is innocent. As she's killed in public she screams innocence and curses him and his family for generations to come. And so the cycle continues.

In America the opposite. Woman screams foul to stack the cards against male. He is presumed guilty until proven innocent, she has the upper hand until the truth is finally found out.
